This is kind of old news, but I finally got around to seeing the first part of the new Evangelion. I think I wet my pants a little. Fuck all the new anime out there; I'll gladly take this revisit over any new title right now. I loved Eva as it was, but updating the animation the way they have made me do my little hand flail/toe curl thing. Also I think I wet my pants.

It's like a step above a rehash. They're reanimating it, basically; some things are the exact same, frame by frame (except with updated animation) and some things are like totally redone both visually and storywise. There's even a new character in the trailer for the second film!
